The pretty 'Villa Blue' label, and even the wine itself suggests a lipsmacking Spanish delight, but this luscious Albariño comes from the renowned Spier estate in Stellenbosch, South Africa. The estate is one of the Cape's oldest, and it has won many awards, including a top Ethical award for its many community projects.
Superb, oak-fermented, Gold-medal Chardonnay from Le Chai that tastes more Meursault than Languedoc.
An Italian white to make the tastebuds tingle! Crafted from local Malvasia Puntinata from a third-generation family estate near Rome, it dazzles with white peach and blossom notes and mouth-watering citrus with a crisp finish. Ultra refreshing.
Top Soave “deserves the kind of acclaim white Burgundy gets”by Jancis Robinson, and with the creamy ripe fruit minerality of this wine. No wonder when it’s from “one of the most talented winemakers in the Veneto” (Wine Advocate).
Cousin to Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris is richer, yet still with appetising zip – all the elements you’ll find in this white. Over the vintages it's won many Golds. From a cracking year for whites, this is spicy, peachy and crisp.
If you're fond of the crisp, citrusy notes of Sauvignon, try this. It's from Rueda in NW Spain, the leading white grape of which is Verdejo, which makes great-tasting whites. Bursting with bright lemony and grassy-fresh appeal.
As the name suggests, these wines are the ultimate creations of Farnese, a cellar that has won Top Italian Winery three times. For years they’ve delighted us with a rich, seductive red. This is the 98 point bright apricot and citrusy white.
