The Rule-Breaking Challenger
La Part du Boucher NVVin de France, France
Jean-Marc Sauboua first made this unique wine for his team with small amounts of top-class wines left at the end of bottling as a treat to enjoy with steak after late nights working. The result was SO good that we had to have it for our customers as well – even though we can’t put those prestige appellations on the bottle! It’s a magnificent blend of … well, we don’t know exactly what. There’s some Pomerol, some Pauillac perhaps, and some Saint Émilion rubbing shoulders with other stars from the southwest. It's a big, warming red that will really impress – especially with steak and chips.
