Description

Named for the ancient stone huts dotting the family's vineyards (once used for sheltering vineyard workers on hot afternoons), Las Barracas is a blend of 60% bright, red-berried Tempranillo (the great grape of Rioja) and 40% inky, rich Cabernet Sauvignon.

It’s a truly delicious wine, a seductive, berry-filled delight with exotic spice and vanilla notes. Two years in a mix of French and American oak and five years in the bottle has mellowed it beautifully into a complex, layered and lavishly silky red that’s hard to resist. It’s lovely just to sip on, but also makes the perfect partner to tapas, or to grilled or barbecued meats.
