Today, Caprili is one of the region’s star performers, run by Alfo’s three children, with his grandson Giacomo as winemaker. This is a fine, classic red with aromas of red berries, cherry, woodsmoke and spice. The palate offers similar flavours, with silky tannins, freshness and a long, complex finish.
