Provence remains supreme for classy pinks. Not always cheap, but our Buyer Jean Marc knows that Aix offers quality with value. Using Provence’s classic grapes, the cellar there has captured the berry fruit, stony citrus notes and savoury riff.

Alessandro Gallici’s superb vintage-edition Prosecco, now in a new delightful, berry-fresh pink form.
We’ve worked with the genial Alessandro Gallici for over 20 years.
Every vintage he produces a superb range of both still and sparkling wines that our customers and staff adore. And this year, he's gone a step further – producing this gorgeous rosato edition.
It uses only specially selected, fine organic grapes, taken from around the village of Roncade and is given its fizz by the special charmat method.
Alessandro’s standard Prosecco is hugely popular to enjoy any time. And we know this fine vintage rosato version will be a big hit too!
It has appealing ripe peach fruit, bright, fresh red berry flavour and a fine stream of bubbles.
Chill down, then find a reason to open a bottle (or two)! It makes a particularly delicious aperitif.

If you like dry, bright, berry-fresh rosés, then you'll love Portugal’s new wave rosados. This country cultivates a myriad of exciting red varieties which, when picked early, with lots of refreshing zip, make perfect crisp pinks. Amoras is from a single estate 40km north of Lisbon, Casa Santos Lima, which has been owned by the same family for four generations.
The wine is named after the wild blackberry bushes that frame the vineyards, giving the local wildlife something other than tasty grapes to feed on! For this refreshing rosé, the winemaker selected Portugal’s prized native grapes, plus a portion of deep, blackcurrant Cabernet. It's a tasty drop on its own and ideal with seafood, salads, at a barbecue or with Asian cuisine.

It's a cru area, with vineyards planted on the mountain's lower slopes. Warm sunny days and cold nights are perfect for bringing out the aroma, elegance and freshness in its grapes.
Fifth generation Didier Lefebvre's Château La Bégude was founded in 1896. Such is his passion for his mature vineyards, he has converted them all to organic.
He grows classic Provence varieties – Cinsault, Grenache and Carignan, with a sprinkle of Vermentino, Ugni Blanc, Syrah and Mourvèdre.
Picked early morning and cool fermented, it captures all the savoury berry freshness you'd expect of this great wine.
For a great value rival to the wines of Provence, look to Bordeaux. Here, among the classic family estates and old vines, dry, elegant and fruit-filled rosé shines. Try this 2019 – brimful of strawberry, gooseberry and pink grapefruit flavours.
Say 'elegant French pink' and you're likely to head straight for Provence. But don't forget Corsica and its Île de Beauté. This beautiful island also makes very fine, delicate rosé, as you'll find in this berry fresh and citrus crisp 2020.

Provence is France’s premier rosé region and Domaine de Paris is one of its most stylish and elegant. A previous vintage even gained mention in the prestigious US journal Wine Spectator: “Very good – a wine with special qualities. Dry and refined, with dried berry and cherry flavors and plenty of minerally notes.” The estate has been owned since 1900 by three generations of the Brun family.
50 year old Syrah and Grenache vines produce fruit of superb concentration and impeccable purity. There’s a tantalising steeliness to the structure, a flinty backbone coupled with wild strawberries and a lovely savoury note. Fine Provence rosé is not just for summer! The locals enjoy it all year round, on its own or with seafood, chicken or ratatouille.
Delicious, crisp pink from France’s most elegant source for rosé, Provence. Long hours of sun and cooling sea breezes produce wines with subtlety and balance, as you’d expect from this well-heeled area. Pretty berry notes with citrusy zip.

Provence is synonymous with lavender fields, sunshine and delicate pink rosés many regard as the best in the world. Since the influx of millionaires and movie stars in recent decades, it’s also become one of the pricier regions of France. Yet, happily, we can still enjoy the trappings of the Côte d’Azur lifestyle with wines like Domaine Pontfract. It comes from a 20 hectare estate with chalky, stony soil and sunshine all summer long.
The prime ingredients of Provence rosé, Grenache, Cinsault and Carignan, love these conditions. Winemaker Marie Alejandro gives the grapes a gentle pressing to extract a delicate colour and delightful, strawberry scented aromas. Enjoy this pink on its own, or with olive tapenade or a fresh seafood platter.
