We are delighted to bring you this unique bubbly from Windsor Great Park. There was, in fact, a vineyard in the Park in the 1100s, under King Henry II. Nine centuries later, in 2010, Tony Laithwaite discovered a 3-hectare, south-facing plot there, sloping down to Great Meadow Pond, with all the attributes for a top-class vineyard – gentle breezes, a moderate climate, well-drained soils. We gained permission to plant Champagne’s classic varieties and harvested our first grapes in 2013.
