Lavish award-winning Clare Valley Shiraz from very well-respected Australian winemaking team
A rich, full-bodied red wine from the renowned Clare Valley, a region known for producing some of Australia’s most vibrant Shiraz. Powerful and intense, it’s filled with luscious blackberry, plum and dark fruit flavours, with hints of savoury spice.

Angas King 1836 Clare Valley Reserve Shiraz is the perfect choice for those seeking a wine that balances power and elegance. It captures the distinctive character of the Clare Valley through a marriage of modern finesse and traditional techniques.

\n

Produced by the renowned Greenock Estate, the Angas King range is named in honour of the banker, pioneer and pastoralist, George Fife Angas from England, who played a significant role in the formation and establishment of the free settled colony of South Australia. It is a collection of premium Shiraz wines from four of South Australia’s greatest wine regions – Barossa Valley, Eden Valley, Clare Valley and McLaren Vale.

Full-bodied and lusciously rich, the nose offers aromas of ripe cherries and mocha, with underlying sweetness. This is followed by rich notes of dark plums, blackberry and dark chocolate, with a long, velvety finish. It pairs wonderfully with hearty dishes such as grilled lamb chops, venison stew or roast beef.
