Château Malescasse 2018

We are delighted to present Château Malescasse 2018, a distinguished wine from the Haut-Médoc and an estate awarded the elite Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel status. The 2018 vintage faced a challenging, wet spring, followed by a warm, dry summer that produced grapes of remarkable concentration. Harvested in small quantities yet exceptional in quality, it is widely regarded as one of the standout vintages of the decade.
Located in Lamarque, between Margaux and Saint-Julien, the estate’s gravel soils shape a wine of finesse and elegant structure. Crafted from 50% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon and 22% Petit Verdot, and matured for 12 months in oak barrels (one-third new oak), it reveals aromas of ripe red berries, floral tones and hints of violet. The palate is delicate, silky and finely textured, with velvety tannins and a long, graceful finish — a truly classic and refined Haut-Médoc wine.
