Il Poeta Barbaresco Gaia Principe 2020 Barbaresco DOCG, Italy
Barbaresco is also a Piedmonte Nebbiolo. Though not as tannic or powerful as Barolo, it offers the same deep aromatics and opulence. The expressive Il Poeta is rated 92 points by James Suckling: “Cherries and raspberries with hints of sandalwood, bark and licorice … a vivid, red-fruited finish.”
