Domaine Dubreuil-Fontaine 2024 comes from Pernand-Vergelesses, the oldest village in the Côte de Beaune. It sits adjacent to the famous hill of Corton, on the top of which sits the Grand Cru vineyard of Corton-Charlemagne. It's delicate and fresh with raspberry to the fore. The silky, elegant Averys Fine Red Burgundy 2022 is made by Vincent Prunier, “a little-known yet superb producer” (Los Angeles Times). His domaine started with vines in Auxey-Duresses, but he's since added parcels in some of the Côte de Beaune’s foremost villages, including Chassagne-Montrachet. Last, you’ve the lovely Vigneron de Buxy Côte Chalonnaise Pinot Noir 2023 from a renowned cellar. It’s a beautiful wine, with expressive red fruits alongside hints of smoke and earth on a long, lithe finish. Superb.
