Château Lavabre La Closerie 2018
Pic Saint-Loup, France

This concentrated Syrah Grenache blend comes from France’s lovely Languedoc and the very special Pic Saint-Loup appellation. The critics love it: “Blueberries, blackberries and licorice notes mark the nose, supported by hints of crushed stone and spicy oak…94pts (Robert Parker). “A blockbuster bouquet of black fruits, camphor, graphite…95pts” (Jeb Dunnuck). “Opulent! Incredibly concentrated… Fig molasses. Coal dust. Graphite. Caraway. Lots of texture on those tannins… Huge power and broad, glossy, muscled shoulders…17.5/20 (Jancis Robinson). We think you’ll love it too!

Trapiche Terroir Series Finca Coletto Single Vineyard Malbec 2018
Mendoza, Argentina

Winemaker Daniel Pi chooses the three best Malbecs from a collection of 90 separate vineyards for Trapiche’s premium Single Vineyard range, “among the finest values in high class Malbec” (Robert Parker). Grapes for this lavish red were hand harvested from Cristina and Bibiana Coletto’s 60-year-old ungrafted vines, planted at 1,127 metres in Tupungato. Vinified in small, open fermenters and matured for 18 months in new French oak, it’s rich and full-bodied with dense black fruit and complex, integrated oak. Argentine Malbec at its finest, ideal with roast red meats.

Château Sénéjac 2022
Haut-Médoc AOC Cru Bourgeois, France

Château Sénéjac is owned by the Cordier family (famous for Saint Julien’s 4th Grand Cru Classé Château Talbot). Located close to Margaux, it’s one of Haut Médoc’s better-known Cru Bourgeois. The 2022 vintage was particularly fine: “2022 Sénéjac is one of the best wines that this northern Médoc cru Bourgeois has produced” (The Wine Advocate.) A deliciously smooth, complex blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot, it’s lusciously dark and seductive, with a “full body and spiced, chocolatey character” (James Suckling).

Add-on a Parker-rated 2006 Super Tuscan at 58% OFF!

Ever tasted a 20-year-old ‘Super Tuscan?’ You can, right here! La Regola 2006 is a luscious blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot from a small plot owned by the Nuti family in the village of Riparbella in Italy’s beautiful Tuscany… It’s a "gorgeous, expansive wine” (The Wine Advocate) lavish with "roasted coffee beans, menthol, licorice, dried roses and minerals.” Now at its peak of maturity, this is a silky, perfectly aged treasure, a velvety melange of fragrant dark fruit, florals, and tobacco spice complexity.
