Founded in 1880, world-renowned Maison Joseph Drouhin is still family-owned and today in the hands of the fourth generation. Their 2023 Saint-Véran is a joyful mix of ripeness and freshness – expect notes of white peach, crisp apple and lemon zest, with a gentle mineral freshness. Saint-Véran lies in southern Burgundy, surrounding the famous vineyards of Pouilly-Fuissé but the wines remain that much more affordable than their famous neighbour. Seductive and refined, the 2023 is drinking beautifully.
