Wine without compromise from grape to glass, a dark, silky, oak-aged Nero d’Avola Riserva We first met Dino when he began restoring his grandfather's earthquake-struck vineyard, high in the Sicilian hills. You loved the wine it made - Tenuta Fenice. Not one to rest on his laurels, he started another ambitious project called w/o - wine without compromise. This is the latest release in his mindfully made range, a fabulous Riserva made from one of Sicily’s great hero grapes, Nero d’Avola. All grown organically too, thanks to Sicily's warm, dry climate and Dino's diligence. It's bottled in 100% recycled glass, known as 'wild' glass. You may notice a little variation in colour, perhaps a few tiny bubbles. All part of the charm of this red packed with cherry, plum and berry fruit with spicy notes of pepper, liquorice and tobacco.
