Kew Gardens Carricante 2023 Terre Siciliane IGT, Italy
A gorgeously cool, crisp, refreshing white from a small Sicilian family estate. Carricante is an indigenous grape of Sicily, in particular of the volcanic slopes of Etna for at least 1,000 years. Bright and zingy, with ripe stone fruits, floral hints and a crisp, mineral finish, it’s a delight with fresh-out-of-the-ocean seafood.
Kew Gardens Mencía 2022 Bierzo DO, Spain
Mencía is a red grape grown in Spain and Portugal, renowned for its aromatic red fruit and floral aromas. This elegant and appealing version comes from Bierzo in Northwest Spain and is brimming with juicy red fruits and freshness. Chill it very lightly, then serve with white meats, risotto or even seafoodBBQ Duck or Pork.
