The finest and most ageworthy come from Mendoza's Uco Valley, the highest stretches of which lie at well over 1,200 metres. Parcel Selecta 2020 is an exciting opportunity to secure this special project red. It's from an ace cellar, named as 'New World Winery of the Year 2023' by Wine Enthusiast. Leading their winemaking is Miriam Gomez, who has worked at some of the world's top cellars, including Opus One, home to eye-wateringly expensive wines.
Aged well over a year in barrel, the rest in bottle, this beautiful wine offers dark red fruits on the nose with a wash of mocha, vanilla and spice. From first sip there’s a lovely texture and weight, superb balance and silky smooth tannins.
