If you enjoy the freshness of Sauvignon, try this dazzling white. It's pure Bacchus from an outstanding English vintage. So much delicious ripe apricot fruit and citrusy zip from this 4th generation estate in north Somerset, with awards galore.
English wines have really come of age and 2018 is a star vintage. If you're undecided, try this brilliant white made from Bacchus, a grape we've made our own. It's got real Sauvignon like dazzle, with appealing lemon and apricot fruit. The wine is from the Aldwick estate, not far from Bristol. The Dibble family first settled there in 1905. However, vines were only planted in 2008. That was by the 4th generation, Chris Watts, and a few years later, he began making wines to international acclaim. After his tragic death in 2011, his sister Sandy took over, assisted now, a little, by her three children. Chill down and enjoy this white on its own – it's hugely refreshing – or with creamy fish pie, chicken and tarragon or veggie kebabs.
