A local boy and talented winemaker, he knows exactly where to find the finest Glera grapes to make this elegant, creamy fizz.
Add extra sparkle to your weekly wine routine with this fresh, inviting Prosecco. It's full of delicious apple and lemon-scented flavour. After all, right across Italy Prosecco is the bubbly of choice and as much a part of daily life as gelato or an espresso. This wine is from northern Italy's Alessandro Gallici. He knows every grape grower worth knowing, every premium vineyard, and has spent his life making outstanding wines. We first met him when he was head winemaker at a large winery. Every vintage, he'd impress us, but he was also keen to go out on his own. We were delighted and promised we'd be his first customer. We're still championing his great wines today. His fizz is beautifully fresh and, served chilled, makes a tasty aperitivo.

This is a special cuvée created to celebrate our company's 50 year anniversary. Intense lemon and peach, with a lush creamy mousse, captured in a unique bottle.
Our cherished partnership with Alessandro Gallici spans over two decades. With each vintage, he crafts an array of still and sparkling wines that our customers and staff adore. Initially made to celebrate our years of friendship and to mark the company's 50th year, Alessandro created a special Prosecco. And so, Prosecco Millesimato was born. Made entirely from the Glera grape and sourced from the finest organic vineyards in the village of Ronade, this sparkling gem is given its fizz by the special charmat method. It’s long and toasty with ripe peach fruit. Initially intended as a limited edition to commemorate a significant milestone, the Prosecco Anniversario was so popular, it now has a permanent place in our range. Chill well and enjoy.
We work closely with great producers to ensure we get the best wines for our Averys label range. Our new German Riesling is crafted for us by Gabel winery, a small family estate with 350 years of winemaking history. Recently awarded “Rising star of the year 2022” in Germany’s Eichelmann Wine Guide, Oliver Gabel learnt his craft through the vineyards of Baden, Bordeaux, Burgundy and South Africa. He’s now developed his own style at home in the Pfalz, striving for elegant wines that show their origin. This Riesling is from limestone soils in organic vineyards giving the wine an invigorating mineral character. Wild yeast fermentation in traditional wooden vats (some more than 100 years old!) preserves the vibrant fruit aromas. Drink or cellar.
Lots of customers associate the Cabalié name with a richly flavoursome red. Now meet its oh-so-moreish white sibling, our top-selling southern French white, with 7 Golds in just four vintages! Ripe, crisp and, best of all, terrifically versatile.
Dubbed as the “Princess of Champagne” by the press, Virginie Tattinger worked alongside her father in the world-famous Tattinger Champagne empire for 21 years. But she left in 2006, now makes excellent Champagne in her own right.
Since he took over the family estate in 1990, he has also acquired sites in Languedoc, Roussillon, Provence, Alsace – and far afield in Oregon, Australia’s Heathcote and Portugal. Domaine de Bila-Haut is his prize in the Roussillon’s Latour de France.
Its rugged slopes include soils of gneiss, schist, chalk and limestone, lending richness, depth, power and finesse.
This white is made from Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris and Macabeu, with a little this vintage of Marsanne, Viognier and Roussanne for a more aromatic style.
Pure, unoaked and with white peach fruit, it pairs well with trout or chicken, but is great solo, too.

Michel Chapoutier is renowned for his brilliant Rhône wines, but this region alone couldn’t contain his brilliance. Domaine de Bila-Haut is his prize in the Roussillon’s Latour de France. Its rugged slopes include gneiss, schist, chalk and limestone, lending richness, depth, power and finesse.

Delicious depth and richness with real freshness give this Bordeaux white perfect balance. It’s a collaboration between our award-winning winemaker Jean-Marc Sauboua and owner of Château Le Coin Ludovic Roussillon.
The key ingredient is Sauvignon – Gris that is, not Blanc – which combines spicy richness and lime freshness. All the grapes are tended at Ludovic’s superb estate in the Entre-Deux-Mers, just over the river from Le Chai au Quai, our winemaking HQ in Castillon.
His claret is always a hit and nine years ago we persuaded him to make us a white too. The limestone soils help to produce lovely fruit intensity, while old-vine grapes and a tiny portion of oak fermentation lends even more richness. Great solo or with a creamy gratin.
From a family estate in Italy’s beautiful, alpine Colli Orientali del Friuli, Col Moniér provides a pleasing creamy mousse and fresh lemon and pear fruit.
Sometimes an occasion just calls out for some extra sparkle. From a cosy night in to a full-swing party or picnic in the garden! With Prosecco there are no rules, just chill down your bottle, pop it open and serve – it’s as delicious and moreish with or without food. Col Moniér is an appetising fizz from the Civa family’s winery in the heart of Colli Orientali del Friuli, in northeast Italy. The vineyards lie between the Alpine foothills and the high plains of Friuli, providing a mosaic of different soils and microclimates. The family’s speciality is Ribolla Gialla, but they also excel with other native varieties including the Prosecco champion, Glera. Chill down your bottle and enjoy a glass any time – on its own or with light antipasti.
