Winemaker Alex Trescowthick wrote "on the aroma, dark cherry and plum, typical of Barossa Shiraz. On the palate, those dark fruit flavours combine with rich dark chocolate and spice. It's plush with nice integration of oak from the barrel fermentation, while the tannins are velvety and the finish rich and long." But remember, the wine is still young and will go on improving quite a few years yet. Always best to open the bottle early and decant, so the wine shows at its best.
