Enjoy 6 mouthwatering whites and 6 decadently rich reds at an exceptional price – but only if you’re quick!
Farnese Vini is based in a beautiful, ancient castle in Abruzzo. Its wines are LOVED by our customers (and the critics too!). The inaugural vintage of the Ultima Edizione red debuted to International Wine Challenge Red Wine of the Year honours – and it’s had a cult following ever since. The lipsmacking, white has its own fans too … elegant and citrussy, you’ll find yourself wanting more … and more. Today, you can enjoy them both in one great case.
Farnese Vini’s Ultima Edizione NV is a bold blend of four top Italian grapes: Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Primitivo, and Negroamaro. Crafted by Dennis Verdecchia, it’s rich, spicy, and decadently intense — a true Italian powerhouse.
Ultima Edizione Bianco is a luxurious blend of Pecorino, Moscato, and Sauvignon, usually made for Rome’s top restaurants. Bursting with guava, apricot, and peach aromas, it’s crisp, citrusy, and full of elegant charm – la dolce vita in a glass.
Legendary winemaker Angelo Maci (of Pillastro fame) brings us this bold, dark red from Cantine Due Palme. Made with Susumaniello — meaning "loaded like a donkey" — it's packed with rich, smoky flavour. Lush and decadent, it's perfect with pizza.
'Vertiges' translates as 'fear of heights'. Apt for a wine made from grapes gathered on precipitous slopes by Peyrepertuse Castle. 500m above sea level on a ragged Pyrenean peak, the vines produce a wine with luscious, ripe, silky flavour.

A fear of heights is a non-starter for those working in the vineyards of Vallée du Paradis. They perch perilously on the slopes below Peyrepertuse, an ancient Cathar fortress some 800m high in the Pyrenees. So collecting the intensely fruity, aromatic grapes is not for the faint-hearted. Luckily, winemaker Benjamin Andrieu is willing to put fear aside to tend them.
?The result is a really appealing red, with bright fruit and seductively spiced notes. Syrah brings ripe blackberry, herbs and liquorice notes, while juicy Grenache and peppery Carignan add even more depth and body. A top choice for those who love smooth, silky reds with the warmth of southern France. Great with grilled meats, pasta with pesto, aubergine bake or on its own.

And are well-placed to source the best of its truly remarkable wines.
A brilliant taste of Portugal’s flagship red, this one comes from fourth-generation Leonor Freitas (who was named ‘Comendadora,’ the equivalent of a knighthood) by the Portuguese government for her services to the wine industry. As you can imagine, she certainly knows how to produce a very fine wine. Made with fruit from the family’s acclaimed Vinha do Fava vineyard (wines from this vineyard have won over 80 Gold medals), and long aged in oak, this excellent red is packed with rich bramble, spice, herb and mineral character on a velvety smooth finish.
Until recently, Portugal was largely overlooked by the rest of the wine world. But we’ve been swooping in on its rich pickings for years (we’ve twice been named the ‘Portuguese Wine Retailer of the Year’) .
