Création d’Emilie combines the four main terroirs of the Châteauneuf appellation: Le Crau, its famous, finest cru, with pebbles on red clay that contribute to the fullness and density of the wine; Les Serres, pebbles and alluvium, great for Grenache; and Les Plagnes (pebbly soil) and Le Parc (limestone), both good for Syrah.
