Tyrrells is one of the most famous names in Australian wine. Founded in 1858 in the Hunter Valley, five generations later they still produce some of the country's finest wines. They are renowned for the world's best Semillon and produce many other wines with legendary status. Their list of awards includes Australia’s Best Winery, Winery of the Year 2010, Winemaker of the Year twice in 2004 and in 2009, 14 out of 19 Trophies at the Sydney Show and many more!
In 1994 they made their first foray into Heathcote. The excellent structure and white pepper lift of this red are thanks to the ancient Cambrian soils, unique to this area. With firm structure, dense fruit and supple smokiness from 18 months in oak, it's best decanted early or cellared.
You see, we kept meeting young gun winemakers who had access to tiny parcels of prime fruit which they wanted to craft into small-batch, character-laden wines – and we wanted to encourage them! With no rules to adhere to, these talented winemakers produced astounding wines that dazzled the critics: "Avant-garde and highly successful" (James Halliday), "Australian genius … made with passion" (Jancis Robinson MW), "Must be tasted to be believed" (Robert Parker). RedHeads nowadays has much bigger premises in the South Australia's world-famous Barossa, but it is uniquely designed to produce small batch fermentations, just like they did in the old days. The 1888 is their flagship Barossa Shiraz and it's a beauty, deep, dark and decadently intense – the kind that made the Barossa famous. Make sure you go and visit them in the Barossa. They'd love to show you around.

A new addition to Sam Trimboli’s multi-award-winning list of wines. Inspired by a famous bushranger who stepped into folklore. Mostly Shiraz, it’s bursting with juicy bramble fruits and smoky spice. Bold and moreish.
The best modern whites offer an abundance of sun-ripened fruit balanced by crisp, zingy refreshment. None more so than Yarrunga Field, which has been our ‘House White’ representative for Oz for years. The 2021 is as fruity and fresh as ever.

RedHeads is Aussie rebels leading the field! From the get-go, they've made small-volume, handcrafted wines from 'rescued' grapes. This is a cracker – Barossa, Clare, McLaren and Langhorne Creek. A palate-punching Shiraz.
