Marlborough on South Island has been key in bringing Kiwi Sauvignon to worldwide prominence. Thanks to its brilliant sunshine and cooling coastal breezes, it produces wines with intense purity of fruit. Flavours that sing in Invivo's Sauvignons, which have won Trophies since their inaugural vintage in 2008. We have been delighted to support them every step of the way and, as a thank you, they create this special white just for us.
It’s more restrained and elegant than most, almost European in style. That's down to the winemaker - Kiwi-born Rob Cameron has done many vintages all over Europe. Endlessly refreshing, with gooseberries, citrus and passion fruit, and a mineral elegance that's reminiscent of the Loire, it's a perfect seafood wine.
Duck ’n’ Pheasant is a crisp, ‘jump from the glass’ aromatic Sauvignon. Quality in 2021 was so good, the team were able to make us a Reserve with even more passion fruit zing, using top grapes from individual growers.
Champion the small grower with this terrifically fresh and grassy white. It’s from Marlborough, which enjoys a worldwide reputation for herbaceous Sauvignon Blanc. Duck ’n’ Pheasant is from a cellar that works with individual growers who lack the facilities to produce their own wine, but don’t want to see their precious harvest become an anonymous component of a big brand.
The grapes were all sourced from vineyards which, thanks to free draining, gravelly soils (and the odd duck or pheasant), give excellent flavour intensity. Quality in 2021 was exceptional, with lovely concentration, all captured in bottle and sealed in under screwcap for guaranteed freshness. A crisp glass on its own, and a tasty partner to salmon, chicken or Thai curry.
From the New World capital of Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand’s Marlborough. This is a brilliantly fresh, tropical fruit white. Enjoy its grassy aromas and exuberant fruit.
This off-dry, zesty Riesling comes from the oldest family winery on New Zealand’s South Island – Seifried estate in sunny Nelson, established well before Cloudy Bay. The Aussies make ultra-appetising, lime-fresh Rieslings.
Split Rock Sauvignon is as vibrant as they come, packed full of tropical fruit and citrus. It’s from the pioneering Seifried family estate, who set up in the super-sunny coastal region of Nelson in 1973 (way before most of Marlborough).

Twice 'Winemaker of the Year', Dr John Forrest is one of the greats of Marlborough, famous for pioneering screwcaps, lower alcohol wines and, of course, a range of superb reds, whites and rosés. He's a star with Sauvignon, but also likes to be the first to excel with unusual varieties like Arneis and Grüner Veltliner which compliment the Pinot Noir in this delicate pink. With extensive experience worldwide, daughter Beth is increasingly taking on more of the winemaking.
Field of Stones is a delicious pink, using Pinot Noir, Arneis, Grüner and Chenin, all sourced from a superb, stony Wairau Valley vineyard. This lends a flinty edge to the bright berry fruit and herbal notes of this fine rosé. Perfect with seafood, noodles and on its own.
