We’ve worked with the genial Alessandro Gallici for over 20 years.
Every vintage he produces a superb range of both still and sparkling wines that our customers and staff adore. And this year, he's gone a step further – producing this gorgeous rosato edition.
It uses only specially selected, fine organic grapes, taken from around the village of Roncade and is given its fizz by the special charmat method.
Alessandro’s standard Prosecco is hugely popular to enjoy any time. And we know this fine vintage rosato version will be a big hit too!
It has appealing ripe peach fruit, bright, fresh red berry flavour and a fine stream of bubbles.
Chill down, then find a reason to open a bottle (or two)! It makes a particularly delicious aperitif.

What’s not to adore about Prosecco? All those sophisticated bubbles, yet brighter, more fruity and affordable than Champagne. Il Papavero Prosecco is the latest addition to our ‘poppy’ range of wines, and already boasts an army of thirsty fans – it’s just so irresistible.
But that should come as no surprise when you consider the heritage of winemaker Scipione Giuliani. This maestro was born in the very heart of the Prosecco region. A true local, he knows all the best winegrowers and went straight to the region's very finest vineyards (usually owned by long-standing friends) to source the fruit for this fine fizz. Just one sip will transport you to a smart Venetian piazza. Great value, delicious taste – chill your bottle down and enjoy.
Sometimes an occasion just calls out for some extra sparkle. From a cosy night in to a full-swing party or picnic in the garden! With Prosecco there are no rules, just chill down your bottle, pop it open and serve. Lustrato is a delightful creamy mousse fizz, with full Spumante bubble (frizzante is the other style and has gentler effervescence).
It's made all from the region's prized Glera grape, by the hand of winemaker Alessio Rossetto. Appealing ripe peach, apple and pear notes with excellent lemony freshness, it slips down a little bit too easily! It's ideal on its own, with friends, conversation and laughter, or with lighter dishes. No need for ceremony, simply enjoy.
