Sauvignon Blanc made exclusively for us by our trusted friend Franck Chatelain at Bougrier’s renowned cellar in the Touraine. The original Abbesse was one Louise de Bourbon of the nearby Abbaye de Fontevraud and a major figure in Loire history. This delicious expression of the region’s reigning grape, Sauvignon Blanc, is a fitting tribute to her. Making wine accessible, sustainable, and convenient for all, the Bougrier family have now captured their crisp white in a can. The new nicely portable size also accentuates the crisp, lemony fruit and zippy freshness of the wine. No longer do you need to remember to pack a corkscrew on a picnic. Just pop a can into your basket and crack it open under the sun, once you've found your perfect spot!

In this wonderfully vibrant pink, Franck uses the region’s classic red varieties - a scintillating blend of Loire heroes Gamay and Cabernet Franc.

Gamay brings the gulpable strawberry notes, while Cabernet Franc is more raspberry and leafy.

The new light, easily recyclable packaging makes it the perfect travel size drink, and helps to retain the wine's delicious freshness.

Over 170 years of experience have gone into the making of this ripe tangerine and toasted brioche Champagne.

It's the work of 5th-generation winemaker Julian Fourrier, whose father, Philippe, created this special cuvée in honour of his wife, Brigitte. Her maiden name was Delmotte.

The grapes are a classic blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay taken from vineyards first planted by Philippe and Brigitte.

All the family's 18 hectares of vines lie within Champagne's little known Côte des Bar, described by Wine Folly as "the hottest Champagne region right now".

Made traditionally, this fine fizz was aged four years on its lees to enhance its rich toasty flavour.

Cabalié’s popularity is down to a rare combination of imposing richness and easy-drinking smoothness.

Recreating that in white was no easy task. But Cabalié maestro Hervé Sabardeil has done it – years of searching, blending and hard work come to fruition in this, his ultimate expression of a southern French white.

The magical grape mix is Viognier for honeysuckle aroma and soft texture, Colombard to keep it all crisp and zesty, and Muscat for dazzlingly aromatic grapey notes.

And of course the other key ingredients are bright southern French sunshine, which ripens the grapes to perfection, and the Mediterranean breezes that keep them fresh and healthy.

Every year, they search out the best parcels of grapes from Touraine, the Pays Nantais (home to Muscadet) and other regions where the grape shines to get the perfect balance of bright fruit and elegant, citrus zip. They've named the wine in honour of the original Abbesse of the famous Abbaye de Fontevraud nearby, Louise de Bourbon, a major figure in Loire history. Roche Bellemont is one to savour. It’s handcrafted using the pick of the vintage – Grenache and Syrah, plus a little Mourvèdre and Vermentino, from the oldest vines. You’ll find this pink’s subtle berry fruit is complemented by complex, creamy savoury hints, a lift of lavender and wild herbs with underlying brisk minerality. Such elegance and finesse, as you’d expect from a ‘tête de cuvée’! Superb with seafood rice.
