Strawberry and apple aromas spring from the glass. It’s made by the doyen of Portuguese wine, José Neiva. As Tim Atkin MW pointed out, “the Portuguese wine revolution wouldn’t have happened without him”.
Over the last decade, José’s cellar has won more awards than any other, with wines offering “ripe, accessible fruit, lush textures and good concentration, all at very affordable prices” (Jamie Goode).
In this mouthwatering pink he uses ripe, juicy Touriga Nacional for its unmatchable summer fruit character.
Perfect for picnics, with cold meats, chicken, veggie kebabs and so much more.

The Luis Felipe Edwards family estate lies in the premium Colchagua Valley within Rapel. Luis Felipe Edwards Snr started his wine estate in 1976, beginning with a small plot of land and slowly buying up more vineyards. Today he owns an entire valley and a thoroughly modern, fully equipped cellar. He really has spared no expense over the years (even installing chandeliers in the barrel cellar), but has always kept that quality focused, family run touch to the wines.
Every year they make us a bestselling Sauvignon and in 2018 they wowed us with a vibrant rosé. This crisp, moreish rosado, made by Nicolas Bizzarri, is brimful with ripe berry fruit and citrus zip. Great on its own or with creamy seafood pancakes, spicy stir fry and salads.

If you’re a long-standing customer, the chances are you’ll have come across Scipione Giuliani’s ‘poppy wines’. About 20 years ago, Scipi blew critics away with his original Il Papavero – a humble ‘vino da tavola’ that offered near boundless drinking pleasure and astonishing value for money. Since then, he’s expanded the range, with every new release always offering the discerning drinker plenty of flavour for the money. And this mouthwatering rosé continues that trend.
It’s crafted from Nero d’Avola, a southern Italian variety that’s normally used to make big, juicy reds. Scipi sourced his Nero in vineyards planted on slopes overlooking the sea, where cooling breezes contributed to this wine’s irresistible freshness. The perfect aperitif.

Il Pino proves that Italy’s cool climate north is a top region for fresh rosatos. The world’s favourite white grape, Pinot Grigio produces delightful, fresh rosé, too, thanks to its pink skins. Crisp and minerally with lovely berry fruit.

This is a delightful, fruity rosé made especially for us by Rodolfo (nicknamed Opi) Sadler, chief winemaker at Andean Vineyards. Not only is Opi rated among the Top Ten winemakers in the country, but he also scooped ‘Best Malbec of Argentina’ in 2008 – no small feat as this is the country’s flagship red grape. His regular Malbec has long been a customer favourite, so we asked him to make a deliciously refreshing pink version.
He selected grapes from vineyards high up in Mendoza. They have piercing freshness, and abundant fruit and aroma – perfect for vibrant pinks. Irresistible as a glass solo, Opi Malbec Rosé is surprisingly versatile with food. Try with pea and pancetta risotto, chicken, poached salmon or lightly spiced Asian dishes.

Since the launch of the first Yarrunga Field, Sam Trimboli has been delighting customers with his fabulous wines and winning awards. They don't call him 'Mr Medals' for nothing! Only in the last four years has he set up his own family winery and, in our opinion, is producing even better wines. He has made us the dark, spicy Black Duck from Durif, and the White Chardie Pinot Grigio Duck, but this is just his second foray into the Pink Duck.
Sam is from Italian heritage – his grandfather grew vines in Italy 90 years ago and his parents emigrated to Oz in 1967 – so perhaps it's of no surprise that he has used nearly all Montepulciano here. A splash of Vermentino adds extra lemony zip. A pretty hue, lovely ripe fruit and zesty freshness.
